This bar brands itself as the “no joke, down to business sports bar”. Located in the East Village, the 13th Step is centered around having the quintessential sports bar experience consisting of flat screen TVs, beer and burgers.

2. Village Pourhouse – $2 Drafts, 2-for-1 Cocktails
This Pub is well known for its wide range of beers. It has over 100 beers from more than 20 countries. As well as this, it has various specials throughout the week, including 25 cent wings on “Monday Wing Night” and $12 Bud Light Pitchers.

3. The Monster – $5 Mixed Drinks and Select Beers
The Monster is a historic staple in the west village as a piano and cabaret bar. One of its highlights is its Thursday “Basement Dance party” where Long Island Ice Teas are $5. The have a highly praised daily Happy Hour where mixed drinks and select beers are $5.

This sports bar is located in the East Village in the university district which means its a college student hang out. They offer great deals ranging from “ladies night”on a Wednesday offering $3 drinks to women.

6. XES Lounge Bar – 2-4-1, 7 Days a Week
XES is a local gay bar located in the West Village. It offers a range of themed evenings, for example Sunday evenings are “Sing Out Sister” karaoke evening. On Saturdays they even have two Happy Hours, commencing round 2 with “Midnight Happy Hour”.
