FREE OUTDOOR JAZZ IN THE CITY
“Jazz in the Square”, hosted by the New School, takes place every Tuesday and Thursday between 12:00pm and 1:30pm. It works on a first-come first-served basis, so head on over whether it be your lunch hour or your time off.
If you cannot spare your lunch hour to make it to Union Square Park do not worry for Hudson River Park, in association with the New School, is launching a new concert series entitled “Stars of Tomorrow.” It is also free and works on a first-come first-served basis. The concerts are taking place on select Tuesday evenings throughout June and July. So make your way to Pier 45, bring a picnic and listen to some music whilst overlooking the Hudson River at sunset.
“Jazz in the Square”: every Tuesday and Thursday, from June 15th-August 15th, 12:00pm-1:30pm, Union Square Park. Free.
“Stars of Tomorrow”: select Tuesday evenings in June and July, 6:30pm-8:00pm, Pier 45. Free.
