Adopt a New Best Friend through Mayor’s Alliance for NYC Animals

 

Trying to find a new little guy to take home with you?  The Mayor’s Alliance for NYC Animals is a great non-profit organization that helps rescue and give new homes to dogs and cats. Working with a coalition of over 150 rescue groups and no-kill shelters their goal is to transform NYC into a no-kill community by 2015. The Alliance is a charity that works collaboratively with the City of New York without any government funding.

Bring Your Dog to the Urban Lawn Party

On Saturday, July 20 the GVCCC is hosting the Urban Lawn Party, a free event welcoming the people of New York to come and enjoy a block party in the heart of lower Manhattan.  We’re pet friendly, so bring your dog to the party and check out some of the pet amenities that will be there. We’ll have a mobile dog boutique, sponsored by With Love Ivan, a station for dog treats and pet behavior consultations, a doggie pool (all FREE), and even a pet adoption center, so come and share the love of the party with your furry friend.
