Stop by the High Line every Tuesday, from 8:00 to 11:00 AM, to assist High Line Gardeners and High Line Custodians with their morning activities, such as pruning the plants, weeding the beds, raking leaves, cleaning the park’s design features, and more. Head to the Chelsea Market Passage, the semi-enclosed passageway on the High Line at West 16th Street, where a Friends of the High Line staff member can fill you in on the morning’s activities and sign you up to help out.

No experience or special materials required. All you need to do is bring your energy, enthusiasm, and love of nature and the High Line. Friends of the High Line will provide you with the tools and knowledge you need, and connect you with a High Line Gardener or High Line Custodian to show you the ropes.

LOCATION
Chelsea Market Passage
On the High Line at West 16th Street

Sign-up ends at 10:30 AM, and space is limited to 10 volunteers.

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Volunteers between the ages of 14 and 17 must be accompanied by a caregiver.

If you plan to join us, you can sign-up in advance to receive Monday afternoon updates on Tuesday’s horticulture tasks.
